(Hamburg, 19 November 2015) With effect from 1 July 2016, the Supervisory Board of Lotto24 AG has reappointed the company’s CEO, Petra von Strombeck, for a period of five years to the end of June 2021. Petra von Strombeck has headed the Executive Board since May 2012 and is responsible for Corporate Strategy and Development, Marketing, Sales, the Business-to-Customer and Application Service Provider business fields, Investor Relations, Human Resources and Organisation, as well as IT Strategy, Systems, Processes and IT Operation.
Prof. Willi Berchtold, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, commented: “I am delighted that Petra von Strombeck has agreed to stay on as CEO for a further five years. Together with her Executive Board colleague and all employees, she has done a great job in developing the company. Today, Lotto24 is the leading private online lottery broker by far with over 800 thousand customers. This is a fantastic achievement.”
Petra von Strombeck stated: “Lotto24 is a company with great potential. We have proven that we can achieve a lot in a short space of time with this company. I’m really looking forward to continuing my work with this team and for this exciting company.”
In addition to Petra von Strombeck, the other member of the Executive Board is Magnus von Zitzewitz. He is responsible for Legal Affairs and Regulation, Finance, Accounting, Taxes, Controlling, Compliance, Risk Management and Communication.
